SPEAKING

Talks built on knowledge, practice and experience.

I give talks and lectures for organisers of conferences, industry events and meetings for business owners. I speak about the areas I know from my own work: running a company, finances, education, working with people and organising events.

What I speak about

Five areas in which I have practice and material of substance. The subject of a particular talk is agreed to suit the audience of the event.

Running a company in practice

Organisation of work, procedures, standards, delegation and decision-making in the day-to-day running of a company.

An owner's finances and decisions

Costs, the profitability of services, pricing your own work and the financial decisions of someone running a company.

Education and the work of a trainer

Designing training, teaching adults and building a process that leads to a specific skill.

Brand, events and building your standing

How events build a brand, relationships and standing in an industry. Experience drawn among other things from creating Amber Eyes.

Health and running a company

What happens to the running of a company when the person responsible for the business goes a long time without real room to recover. A subject based on the experience of running a business and on a personal story, without medical advice or diagnosis.

Where a talk like this fits

If your event takes one of these formats, the subject can be adapted.

If your event does not fit this list, write anyway. We agree the format before the invitation is accepted.

  • Industry conferences and congresses
  • Expert panels and panel discussions
  • Events for business owners
  • Educational and training events
  • Company and internal meetings
  • Schools, universities and institutions

Where this experience comes from

I have run my own companies for over twenty years: a salon, an online shop, my own product brands and a training business. When I speak about running a company, I speak as someone who made those decisions herself and carried their consequences.

I have experience of teaching in a post-secondary school, running practical classes and preparing students for state examinations. I have also given guest lectures in schools. I do the same work today under the name GK Academy, teaching adults and trainers. The point of it is that knowledge can be passed on and put into practice, not merely listened to.

I have been on stage for years. I have given talks at industry events, among them The Future of PMU and Medicine Aesthetic and Lash Me, and at other conferences connected with the beauty industry. I also serve as a judge at industry championships. I publish articles in industry magazines in Poland and France, and I am co-author of the book „Podręcznik dla linergisty” - a handbook for permanent makeup professionals.

Kobieta w Miejscu Mocy

A talk about the motivation to act despite adversity, the road to mastery and the strength of sensitivity, with a word of support for women recovering from breast cancer.

AMBER EYES

I do not only speak - I build events.

Amber Eyes - the international championship and conference - is an event I organise from the ground up. The conference programme, working with speakers and judges, arrangements with partners, the running of the gala and looking after participants.

That experience changes the way I approach an invitation. I know what an organiser is dealing with, how much it matters to keep to time in the programme, and why a talk has to fit the rest of the agenda, not only its own subject.

What an invitation looks like

  1. You describe the event

The date, the place, the subject of the event and who will be in the audience. Those four pieces of information are enough to start.

  2. We agree the subject and the format

A talk, a lecture, a panel discussion or a workshop. I adapt the scope to the agenda and to the time you have in the programme.

  3. We match the content to the audience

The same topic sounds different to people running companies, different to trainers and different again to students. I prepare the content for the particular audience.

  4. We settle the practical arrangements

The terms, the running order and everything needed on your side and on mine.

Tell me what you are organising

I will reply whether I can take the engagement and what subject I would propose for your audience.
